Building Community through Music
Passacaglia, a project of the Westside Music Foundation (501c3), is a multi-organization professional chamber music collective that draws from the expertise, resources, and communities of the Westside Music Foundation, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Santa Monica, Los Angeles Flute Orchestra, and Westside Music Conservatory.
We provide high-quality music concerts—featuring professional artists and leading educators—free of charge, by voluntary donation, or for a nominal fee to cover costs. Our mission is to provide concert-going opportunities to community members, especially youths and seniors, who may not otherwise have access to live classical music.

Passacaglia strives to connect audiences of all ages to classical music and jazz in intimate settings through both small ensemble and chamber orchestra repertoire.
Concerto Opportunities
Passacaglia is the resident chamber orchestra for the Robert Turner Piano Concerto Competition and David Weiss Concerto Competition for Strings & Winds.
Our 2026–2027 Venues
Passacaglia presents chamber orchestra concerts at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Santa Monica and chamber ensemble recitals at the Westside Music Conservatory (WMC) in Brentwood. Both are spectacular venues with unparalleled acoustics. St. Paul’s features a glorious restored Abbott and Sieker organ in a Gothic Revival architectural setting, while WMC includes both a Fazioli F228 Semi-Concert Grand Piano (7′ 6″) and a GX-6 Blak Orchestra Grand Piano (7′) in a modern minimalist setting with acoustic pendant lighting.
Concerts at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Santa Monica and the Westside Music Conservatory are free to the public with suggested donations of $20–$25 for general admission and $10–$15 for seniors/students.
